The night before the day before the day before the day after

Instruments of torture: drilling 25 cm [10 inch] deep 18mm [5/8"] diameter holes in the post bases

Do not believe the smile, this was excruciatingly hard

It takes a village
Bob primes the front porch ledger board
Jeff hard at measuring
That's not drill: this is a drill
Jeff drilling, Lindy sanding
Color matching
Night shift: in the rain getting the porch posts set
Cutting the porch beams to length
Beam placement: more on that below

Posts, beams, & scaffolds mean progress

A little out of sequence: the Saturday shots are still on the other camera. Beams going up on Elizabeths newly installed cedar posts, a barn-raising day

This was a little hiccup: no biggy, caught the bracing with the lift.

Sustenance: pizza pieces

The queen of the beams nailing the strapping in place between the 12 footer and the 320 footer

Monday: scaffolding and the WL crew in space

Tuesday: more scaffolding

It's up there, some facia already on.

A little color: some green facia installed on th emian house [above the garage roof]
