Thanksgiving tracks

We had a visitor - evidence
E on top of the world
Tracks - evidence that I was there too

Another hot buy - 33 cents in the dollar for 180+ retaining wall blocks, about 30 kg each. E has manhandled 60 of them already, onto the truck and off again by herself
One more pallet for more blocks

Hard to get the glue to set in the snow

At work after setting some more rebar in place

Finished for the day and off to TG dinner up the hill

Not often seen: the back gate.

A different perspective looking towards the back gate
My present - a stone mill - makes great floue - E got it for less $94 including shipping - it had a crack [not a functional problem] and they dropped the price from retail: at least $600

Block surfing

This and that: gloves and rebar: bread and brioche

brioche oven ready

Swiss mountain bread - rye levain with a mix of baker's and wholewheat flours

yummy wholewheat sourdoughs

easy now to spot the difference

steps for the side porch - ready to go $150 off Criagslist

The builder at work

The tripping hazards are multiplying as the scaffolding goes up amongst the bracing

Lying down on the job

Well - looks can be deceptive - doesn't look very restful
Busy hands need good gloves: Elizabeth says thanks you Ella
